There are photographs that show you existed and there are photographs that show you lived! I want to show your family just as you are, so you have a document of what it felt like to be in that moment, for the children to be that age.
Prices start from €170 for a 45 minute session. Please contact me for further pricing details, and keep scrolling for more information.
" Oh Ruth - DAMN! My goodness, you have such a beautiful talent! I love them!! OMG "
Telling your story
Any session with me usually starts with a little time getting to know each other. Then we will catch a few standard shots right at the beginning so you can relax knowing these are in the bag, before spending the rest of the session exploring the location and generally making the most of the time all together with no obligations.
If you struggle in front of the camera like me don’t worry! I don’t treat a photo session like what you might imagine a typical photo shoot to be, and I won’t be asking you to hold any awkward poses or do anything weird. I prefer to see it as me simply tagging along to your family outing and catching the moments and connections, and if needed I can set up little actions that get everyone interacting. Please don’t worry either about your child being on best behaviour all the time, these situations can lead to really beautiful real-life images.
How far will you travel?
I will travel anywhere you'd like me to, whether it's to your home, your favourite outdoor location or if you'd like me to choose the location somewhere close to you. I am often in the Nuremberg area, and am happy to go further. Travel is an extra fee that I calculate with you
How does the booking process work?
After we have had a chat and you have decided to go ahead and book, I require a 25% deposit to hold the booking. The remainder of the fee is due one day before the session.
How long before I receive the photos?
I will send you the high resolution images in a password protected online gallery within 4 weeks after our session.
What happens if it rains?
In the event of heavy rain we can simply reschedule, unless I am restricted by travel already booked. Rain can also make for some fantastic cosy or energetic photos though, so if you are up for putting the coats on and taking the umbrellas I'm all in!
What happens if my child doesn't want to co-operate?
I think it is important that any child on a photo session with me doesn't feel like they have to smile at, or even acknowledge, the camera the whole time. During the session I will encourage them into actions that will enable them to interact naturally with you. If they get frustrated at any point this is totally ok, and is true to life, and therefore actually makes for quite special photographs.
Do you do 'newborn photography'?
I do photograph newborns! I take the 'lifestyle' type approach, so I photograph them with you as well, as true to real life as we can be. I am not the photographer to arrange the baby by itself with flowers etc. If you are looking for this type though I would be happy to recommend other photographers in the area.
