2016 was a rather epic year for me, and not least for attending the LooksLikeFilm Choochoo camp in New York last October. To be in the same space as many of my photographer idols; Pablo Béglez, Mark Pacura, Nisha Ravji, Nessa K and Sam Hurd, was a thrilling experience and I am still reeling from the enthusiasm and energy that the week drummed up. Having spent a year studying in Montana 11 years ago (what?!), I have a real soft spot for America, and to be in New York with so many talented photographers, also among the other workshop attendees, and my own camera.. it was something of a pivotal moment!
After the workshop I went to Brooklyn for a couple of days; what an incredible place! Such a concentration of creativity, I could have explored the area discovering new graffiti for days!
Here are a few of my images from this trip, thank you to the couples Pawel & Ula, John & Pam, Katy & Jean-Pierre, Chelsea & Joe, Erika & Joey and Braden & Audrey, and the LooksLikeFilm team for such a memorable event! In the words of Jacob Loafman (because I can no longer get it out of my head); meep meep :)
